I'm loving the photo album feature of iOS 5. I want to create some photo albums, but it would be slower if I were to do it from iOS itself. Is it possible for me to do this from the PC and then transfer my photos over to the phone via iTunes?

this has been possible since iOS 1.0 and the first iPhone

Sorry, I didn't realize it! Is there a limit to the folder organization? In my photos folder on my Windows PC, I have a main folder labelled as Photos, and then the sub-folders organized by dates. Will that organization appear properly on the phone?

I haven't done this before, but do I have to use iTunes to transfer photos over? Without using iTunes, I can still at least access the DCIM folder for the camera photos from the IP4.

My iPhone 4 have iOS 5 beta 6 installed. I'm just wondering if it's possible to delete albums from the IP4? Yes

When I synced a folder to my IP4 with iTunes for the first time, the IP4 automatically created a new folder called Photo Library. I want to delete it and yet I don't see any option to do so. No, this folder can not be deleted

Is there a way for captions to be displayed in the album and or view the EXIF from the Photo Album? No

Does the Photo Album support nested folders? I have all of my photos stored in a folder called Photos. Inside are nested folders labelled in a date format. When I synced the Photos folder with iTunes, it only transfer the nested folders over to the iPhone 4. The root folder isn't. Is this normal? I don't know, I use iPhoto to transfer my images, so I don't know about this (but I'm going to assume no).

Thanks!
Your Welcome

I just ended up trying the create new album feature and I am not sure I totally like it ...

1. Using Wifi Transfer app transferred some photos from PC
2. They ended up in the Camera Roll album
3. Selected them, selected to "Create New Album"
4. Now the same set of photos are in the Roll and the Album
5. If you try to delete the photos from the Roll, they get deleted from the Album also

I am not sure that should be the design...seems like they did a symlink of the photos instead of actually creating copy or moviing them to the album

Any thoughts ?
