Seeing mixed answers on the web, so thought I'd just ask here.

I used pwnage tool to upgrade my Jailbroken iPhone to 4.3.3 since it was having problems on the older software. However after it finished, it also updated my baseband to 3.10.01. I have saved SHSHs on my computer but is there a way to downgrade the BB or is it permanent? I know I can revert back to old iTunes versions but am not sure about the basebands...

The phone is JBed but no service due to the baseband update. Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers guys.

What does the Baseband do?

In simple terms you can divide the iPhone into 2 parts- a computer and a phone. The computer part can be downgraded the phone part cannot. The baseband is pretty much the software that runs the phone part.
