possible to get iOS 6 maps on 5?

Just wondering if anyone figured out how to extract the app and place it on iOS 5 while we wait...

Blackberry has been able to do that type of thing in betas..

nope jb doesn't work that way. Install 6.0 if you really want it that bad. Personally Waze works great for me.

Why in the hell would you want to do that? iOS 6 maps is a downgrade.

I love Waze. Really cool app. I don't use it all the time because I have a TomTom gps unit in my car but when I'm runnin late, stuck in crazy traffic, or a passenger in someone else's car, Waze has been nothing but terrific.

Well I'm admittedly cheap so I stuck with the cheap stuff and waze is pretty darn good.. I also love the fact you can report traffic, police and even try your hand at making a new friend or date.
