Hello,

Is it possible to jailbreak a 3Gs on firmware 4.2.1 Baseband : 05.15.04 ?

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks to both of you.

Is there any other solution apart from Greenpois0n ?

I have a 3G iphone thats on 4.0, I want to jailbreak and unlock it. Do I need to preserve the baseband? I think the highest firmware is 4.2.1 for the 3G

What steps should I follow?

since you posted your baseband I'm guessing you want to unlock as well 05.15.04 is not unlockable 05.13.04 is the last unlockable baseband. only solution is Ipad baseband 6.15

Hello,

I used Greenpoison to jailbreak the iphone
I then installed Cydia and ultrasn0w but nothing happened (the phone isn't unlocked)

Any ideas ?

This is because your baseband is not supported via a normal software unlock. Other available options are not practical in my opinion for you to use. (This includes attempting to use the iPad BB 6.15.00 from the iPad 1's iOS 3.2.2.)

Why do people ask for help and then go a head and do what they want.. Why ask I told you the problem before post #9 I know your learning but that means asking and reading.. I not trying to be mean but people want help expect us to help them. why spend the time and effort to help if people don't listen it's frustrating.

Hello,

I understand your feelings and appreciate your efforts but I thought you were answering the post #8 :s
That's why i went with Greenpoison :s

Is it still possible to install iPad baseband ?
How ? What are the drawbacks ?
Tech Elementz : Other available options are not practical in my opinion for you to use.

Thank you !
