Possible to make Favorites bar bold?

Just wondering if it's possible to make the bookmarks in the favorites bar bold like Mavericks.

The new setting with San Fransisco font is not very readable on the non retina Macs so it would be helpful if there's any way to make make the bookmarks text bold.

I'm afraid the short answer is no. BUT what you can do is this. Basically it is changing the default contrast setting using the System Prefs > Accessibility > Display settings.
