Possible to password protect a partition on USB stick?

Hello,

I partitioned a USB stick using the "Master Boot Record" scheme and then created 2 partitions:
1 using Mac OS X Journaled and the other using MS-DOS. However, the MS-DOS partition does not show up on a windows machine. Why is this? Is there a way to fix it?

Also, is it possible to password protect partitions on a USB drive?

Does anyone have any advice?

Is there a utility out there that can do all this?
