Is it possible to rate music while in the mini-mode? My Top Rated folder is the music I'm putting on my iPhone. It's somewhat annoying having to switch into full-mode to rate my songs...

Possible to rate music in mini-itunes mode?

You can use a widget to do that
google: apple widget
Look in the page for different categories / widgets.
Us an iTunes controller, such as Coversutra. It will allow you to rate songs with keyboard shortcuts. 
I just right click or click hold the iTunes icon in the dock. Rating option is just below Now playing.
This sounds like my best option currently. I love a lot of the 3rd party software options available for the Mac, but I've been on a "less is more" kick for a while now. I love how the Mac can run nearly everything natively, without 3rd party software.... So this may be the answer for me.
Thanks guys for the help! Maybe I'll come off this kick and restart using 3rd party add-ons!
