System info: 2011 iMac (specs in sig) running OS X 10.8.2
Over the past 2 months or so I've been unable to get Diablo 3 to start on my iMac, a system it ran fine on previously. While this seems like it belongs in the game section I have reason to believe (based on debug files and tech support advice) that the game is having an issue with my sound drivers which is why I'm bringing this up.
I've already re-installed the combo update and am doing the supplemental update now. I think I had done it before but it's worth a shot. My main question is that, assuming this doesn't work, is there some way to re-install just my sound drivers? I have a feeling they are somehow corrupt which is causing the problem. Odd thing is that it's only happening with Diablo 3 and nothing else. Either way, is this at all possible?
The Blizzard tech suggested I talk to applecare and I will if it comes to that but I figured I'd check here first.
