Possible to set audio to mono in 10.5 Leopard

Posted this in the OSX forum, but despite nearly 150 reads no replies. On reflection maybe there's more Leopard experience here...

So in a nutshell- is there any way to do this even using terminal?

Hi,

go to System Preferences / Universal Access

Audio option : "Play as mono".

Edit : hum... not available in Leopard, I guess.
