Possible to stop watching threads?

When I post in a topic I get (via e-mail) constantly updates about posts there. I now turned off every single notifcation alert but I'm still getting them.
I get them because I'm 'watching' the thread I guess? Can that somehow be turned off too? I can't find it or its hidden away somewhere else?
I don't want to "autowatch" every thread I respond too nor turn it off myself every single time, its making me not want to reply for a quick message anymore.
Haven't experienced a forum yet that was this [CENSORED] to deal with the notifications. ;o
