Is it possible to get done by a LCD replacement service, or to do it yourself, a high resolution screen for the 15" MBP? I would love to keep a matte finish on my MBP, but like many MBP, I would appreciate a higher resolution (pref 1680x1050). Any recommendations besides buying the new MBP?

Thanks

See this thread. So far only pertains to non-LED screens but LED screens are available in 1920*1200 so I guess it's possible. Perhaps you want to track down a SR with a broken screen and be the first to get this working.

Cheers,
