Possible to transfer RAM from one Mac to another?

I'm planning on buying the 13 inch Macbook Pro. Would it possible to take out the RAM from my previous gen Macbook Pro (used for 1 yr) or is used memory no good?

absolutely it is good. Just as long as it is the same type. I believe the new 13" uses DDR3 and your other one may have used DDR2... you will have to double check.

The early 2008 uses DDR2, the late 2008 uses DDR3. The 13" MBP uses DDR3.
