Possible to transfer songs to iPod from networked computer?

My wife syncs here iPod mini with her iBook, but I have a bunch of songs on my PM in another room. With sharing on she can listen to the songs in my Purchased Music playlist (of course) but can not import any of those songs even though her iBook is one of the "authorized" computers. If she wants them on her iPod she is connecting to my computer from the Finder, browsing to the iTunes music folder and copying that song to her iTunes library, then transferring it to the iPod.

Is there and easier way?
