I prefer using my phone with one hand when sending out texts, etc.. would this be possible on the iPhone 6 ? Is there any phone out right now with a very similar size dimension to compare if its possible ?

I use my Lumia Icon in one hand, so its possible, but since apple hasn't released the phone, any replies will be speculations.

I think if Apple is going to release a phone that is larger then 5" it may be difficult for most people to use it with one hand, though your physical makeup will impact the success/failure (people with larger hands will those with smaller will not).

iPhone 6 is very easy to use with one hand. I've been using mine for about 1.5 years now....wait, never mind, iPhone 6 has not been released yet!

Lol. That's pretty funny and I'm honestly surprised it took that long for someone to say.

However I understand what the OP is saying, but in all honesty we don't know if the iPhone 6 will be useable with one hand.

I know I use the 5s with one hand with no issues and will miss it when it goes away.

Apparently, many millions of people are using screens bigger than 5". While they could all be 2-handed people, I suspect some of them may have only one hand and are finding a way to get by :D

Go to any phone store (not branded Apple) and you can hold phones with screens up to 6+ inches in your hand. Imagine an iOs keyboard on that screen. Then see if it can work for you

Unfortunately not. There is a sensor on the iPhone 6 that detects one handed usage and displays an error message if detected. Only if you register for upper body disabilities are you able to unlock one handed operation on the new iPhone.

It is possible to use iPhone 6 one handed. Just look at any review, or try at an Apple Store yourself? Them lazy posters sometimes eh.

People who use 4.7 inch smartphones said that it's very possible.

I wish it were something like 4.4 or 4.5. I don't use cases so I like my phone being protected when inside my pocket when I lean against stuff. The corner of my Nexus 5 got a little beat up because not all of my pant pockets could fit the whole phone. I would also like to see black come back.
