Hi, sorry if this has already been answered but I didn't see it in a search. I have an iphone 4 from ATT. I'm going to be living in Spain for at least the next 9 months and would like to be able to use my phone here without the pathetic ATT international charges. I know little about any sort of hacks or jailbreaking, and I was wondering if it was possible to use the phone in Spain. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

What is your baseband and firmware? We need to know that to tell you whether you can jailbreak or not.

Is your phone locked to AT&Ts network or did you buy an unlocked phone?

If you bought an unlocked phone, you are fine on any GSM network in the world. If not, AT&T will not unlock your phone and you cannot use a sim card from another network without unlocking it.
