I used to have parallels to run my virtual windows since utorrent ran better on the windows side.

what i used to do was search for torrents using os x and it would open either in firefox or utorrent under windows

but now i'm running VMware and i can't seem to get it to do the same, it wants to open it up in the utorrent on the mac side.

just use transmission on the Mac Side all the time. Dumb to use windows just to torrent when Transmission on mac side works just fine.

I've tried transmission, vuze and all the other mac torrent apps i can find.
none of them i've liked as much as utorrent on the windows side...

yes i have tried utorrent for mac.

i don't it since it's still in beta and no where near what utorrent windows is like.

Strange that you haven't found a single torrent app for Mac that you like. I like uTorrent for Mac just fine, and that's all I use on a PC as well. I've found that most Mac alternates for PC apps I've used in the past are better. Not all, but most. To each their own.

Anyway, not really the issue you're asking about, and unfortunately I can't help with that.
