Alright, so a lot of you guys know about viral marketing. I found this video on YouTube, and while it's supposedly a real life video, something seems a bit fishy about it.

I dunno, I think it's viral marketing. Most notable of recent movies, "Cloverfield", used some pretty clever viral marketing tactics, and the movie turned out to be really good in my opinion. Maybe a sequel is coming up.
Anyway, has anyone heard about this in real life (I haven't)? Or is this almost certainly viral marketing? Also, how does one go about, uh, marketing viral marketing--would YouTube be involved, or is it simply someone making an account and posting a video, etc?
