My high definition 1080p skate cam

jvc hd30 2 fisheye lens for extra vig, homemade cam handle, stereo mic, final cut studio 2, kata bag, on most hd settings, video light, ibook

I must say, that's pretty impressive. I love the custom stuff, the lens adapter being very nice. A friend of mine duct tapes his lens adapter on his camera... so it's refreshing to see that it can also look nice. :D

What's the remote above? Is that for the camera?

sony webbie.
love it.
great little fun gadget.

stabilization is zero...
auto focus isnt great...

but works great for a first camcorder.

ahh..the vixia is nice. im actually planning on getting this for my next cam. what lens in on the second pic though?

its a canon wide angle, this camera is really great and for the price its just crazy not to get the hf100. yeah its cheap just because it doesnt have on board memory but you just get a 16gb sd for $20 amazon and your all set. i think i paid $600 for this camera now its down to about $440! i have a video on youtube if you wanna take a look.

yeah, for me, a little webbie was good to start with. allows me to get used to the video editing software, and play with different concepts before i decide to actually get deeper into the camcorder world.

the latest canon model will be there for me in a year or two.

What we use...

I know this thread is a little older... but I think it's just new enough that I can consider it "not dead." ;-)

Here's my FX1/Redrock 35mm rig on a recent shoot -- we were putting together a short film for a contest.
