Heh. Actually it doesn't. It looks more like a fabric that maybe he is using to make it less slippery. Possibly to protect his Apple logo. I didn't ask you what it looked like. Go have another breakdown. Maybe this time about your toaster.

gaffer tape. adhesive is like a rubber cement instead of glue. so regardless of how long its on there it comes right off. easily replaceable
this way i protect the back of the phone, such as when I put it on the desk, without dimishing its pocketability.

I've never used on of those and I don't have a dock but one time I tried it in a dock* at the Apple Store.
It was a bit tight but otherwise fit decently.
* which may or may not be a good comparison fit-wise

It's a apple universal dock using a agent 18 adaptor from a first gen iPhone had to cut the bottom part or the adaptor..

Yeah, that is a pic of a metallic Incase Slider (gunmetal). After seeing that pic, I ran to the nearest bestbuy to grab me one too. It's sweet looking. Now just waiting for my PS Anti-Glare and I will be good to go.

I'm pretty sure it's one of those knock-off China cases. I saw them at my local night market which is full of fake stuff. The case actually looks pretty good.
That case is a rip-off of switcheasy's capsuleneo. Brilliant case and its smothering my 3GS as we speak.
I got the white because of apples history of white devices, and because the majority of people I know have a black one. I usually get the one that most people don't have, U2 black iPod when the white one was popular, wanted a black MacBook. But now that black is popular, as with my 5th gen iPod, I went white. I don't think it looks feminine... I mean it's white, it isn't some bright pink or anything. With any normal device I usually go black, but with apple, it's white, unless everyone has a white one, and I have a choice of black. Your comment insults my masculinity....
