I've seen quite a good range of screen protectors and cases for the iPod Touch 5G on LoveCases.co.uk. I've used CaseMate and Cygnett before so I know they're both good brands although I'm unsure about FlexiShield.

I bought the Reveal case by Griffin. The back scratches easily and the loop hole is pretty much useless.

I like this case too, so I'd be interested to hear your opinion on this case when you get it. From the picture that shows a side profile, it appears that the back of the case isn't perfectly flat. It almost looks like it has an angle (has a pointed area) near the volume buttons?

Here's a quote from iLounge's review of that case.

"Unfortunately, other button protection turns out to be a problem: the Sleep/Wake button cover doesn’t fit properly, and actually forces the button down, such that it’s unable to be released. This issue makes the otherwise cool case unusable. Having the “slide to power off” prompt show up, and the Sleep/Wake button be unresponsive once the message has cleared, is an insurmountable problem. Were this not an issue, we’d likely at least generally recommend FlexFitT5. As it is, we simply can’t. FlexFitT5 isn’t worth even the low price."

I have had Noreve cases for my Kindles, and although a bit pricey, they are of the best quality, and there are many color choices. Wait time is 14 days, so I probably won't have it for a month, I would guess. That's the bad thing about Noreve...they make the cases as they are ordered, so there isn't immediate gratification! But, if this case is as great as the other Noreve covers that I've had, I'll be very happy.

+1 for the Poetic Atmosphere case. Feels much better than a $5 case - way better than any of the junk cases you'll get from a mall kiosk in that price range. Fits very well, nice finish for such an inexpensive case. We'll see how the color holds up in the long term, but for $5, I won't be upset if I have to buy another one.

I have this case, black one. I think this is one of the best cases for iPod touch 5. It covers many holes and the connection holes are small (but usefully) so it protects very good from the scratches.

Cover Case that fits in a dock cradle

I recently bought a dock charger. But my iPod Touch 5 didn't fit in because of the skin case, so I bought a new hard shell case that perfectly clicked in with the case on.

I like this case because it's minimal, thin, crystal clear design with wide open bottom. I can also show off my DecalGirl skin on the back. If anybody is interested, please check these out.
