Post Spring/Winterboard Screenshots 2.x - 3.1.x

Perfect. Once I turn on Winterboard, I will be able to change individual icons, themes or docks, correct?

Or should I just shup up and mess around with it.

Try as I might, I can't seem to use say Glass Orb dock without the Glass Orb icons. I want to keep the standard icons but have a different dock. I'm lost.

Obviously, I personalized this a little too.

yeah I like mine simple and clean. I had to edit the ipod and safai icons so they could be on those sides and in the centered correctly

ditto, does this require more knowledge than simply organising things in a certain order on Winterboard? Seems like it should be simple but it obviously dislikes me and I have yet to research how to SHH etc as I am not that tech savvy yet. Thanks to the responder
 
I just completely wiped my phone and updated to 2.2. I'm amazed at how fast and responsive it is. From what I'm reading, Winterboard may have been a big part of my problem. I had many modifications via Winterboard.

So is everyone finding that it is less detrimental to performance to just SSH and change the icons, etc. themselves? I really want to customize mine again, but I'm not willing to take the performance hit I took last time.

Were you using 2.2 before you wiped, or were you on 2.1 (or lower)?
