Post-Thanksgiving Apple Store Special Event

Has anyone noticed the small banner about a special retail event this Friday, November 25th? You can see it on the retail site. I called Apple to ask about it, since there's no other information available on the site, but the gentleman I spoke to said that they won't even know what will happen until that day. Any thoughts on what it might be? I assume there will be some small giveaways and/or discounts...

I saw that sign at the Apple store on saturday.

Ohhh yea, you'd better believe I'll be there! I'm leaving my home at 7 (tofurkey doesn't make me sleepy! MM!) and I'll stop by the Apple store around 10 AM (openin' time!)

Please, please, please, a discounted Mac Mini with superdrive so I can suprise my husband for Christmas. Whimpers, a little, puh-lease.

It'll probably just be discounts like last year. Mostly they weren't anything you couldn't get via educ. discount or reseller, but the Airport Express price last year was quite excellent. Maybe we'll see lucky bags or something, but I doubt any free stuff of any consequence.

Noooo..... I shall be in Vancouver, WA that day and there are zero Apple stores there

Maybe I can beat the rush and convince my father that we need to cross the river to Portland
