"Lucky Brand... it's like A&F only better":p:cool:

What's different about any of these brands?
I hate A&F and Hollister. All of those "preppy" stores in general. The only one of them that have decent clothing is American Eagle, but i still only have like two of their shirts.

I mostly shop at oldnavy and gap:p

Also i like it when stores like Diesel are on sale:)

Can anyone else spot the 3 examples of irony?

it's not that exciting when you see the whole picture...

(yup, those are duckies on my pants)

anyway, I knew what I was getting into moving to the UK. (I'm a native Californian ;)) but I damn sure miss warm weather when winter rolls round here. I'd love to be a boat ornament in some tropical seafront about now.

I was comparing LB to A&F's quality. All the A&F shirts I ever had fell apart after being washed a couple dozen times. Not to mention their jeans start thinning after about six months. LB lasts forever. Plus, LB isn't "preppy" so that's why I wear it.

A&F is pretty much designed to fall apart after a while. Even my former HS classmate who was an AM at an A&F store said that.

(too many acronyms)

So much AE, Abercrombie, etc! Bitta Jack and Jones for ya!

Usually OK stuff at a fair price...

I just got back from the gym so I'm not wearing the nicest shirt but I picked 5 solid colored Tees for 20 bucks, at Foot Locker. It was a pretty good deal.

I see no irony. Those AE shirts i have were a gift. I didn't buy them. Oldnavy and Gap are NOT preppy stores. And Diesel is so crazy expensive hardly anyone i know shops there.

Here's my current shirt btw....

But you did say that they sell decent clothing.

Oldnavy and Gap are NOT preppy stores.

I think they are. If you dressed like a Gap mannequin, I'd think you look preppy.

They're like the preppy version of bad-ass.

I guess I'd consider my dress "preppy" as well. I buy a lot of American Apparel made stuff, although not from AA themselves. I don't think AA is preppy. It's more for people that try too hard to be different, which looks bad because all these people who try to stand out are shopping from the same damn company! However, I avoid the really weird stuff and only buy their t-shirts. Their synthetic and semi-synthetic stuff is fantasmic and feels great. Best fitting t-shirts for my build. I also own a plain black hooded jumper from them, and some sort of long sleeve t-shirt.

Put any of those shirts with a jumper and a pair of jeans, and I look preppy.

hah I work at GAP and yea if you wore the clothes how we style them on the mannequins then i personally would class you as preppy :p

Im just down with jeans and tee from GAP and a shirt sometimes...

This one today- it seemed fitting because I'm doing Music Theory projectwork.

One of my many, many Threadless shirts. I'm hooked.
I know the feeling... I have 7 orders** with 19 shirts (plus 2 for my girlfriend) on the way from the spring cleaning sale...

I need more closet space... :p

** Need to keep orders under ~$35 before shipping, ie. 3 shirts during the sale as opposed to 2 usually, to avoid Norwegian VAT and customs fee.
