How the hell is that even possible?? is it fully working? I've been looking for an iMac G4 on eBay lately and they don't go away for under $200 shipped!

i have 2 fully functional iMac g4s in my garage.....are they of that much value? original boxes and everything.

I guess you can say I got lucky. It is fully operational. I haven't decided what I am going to do with it yet but it looks really cool sitting on my desk I can tell you that much. He is also giving me the speakers that came with it as well. But he did not have them with him at the time.

Got a free copy of Windows 8 Pro (because of some training I did at work). Not sure what to do with it. My Computer running Windows XP is way to old to run 8 (plus I never use that computer) and my MacBook air 11" was just stolen. My white MacBook I fear would be really slow if I installed it on that machine. Might see if I could pick up a super cheap laptop on ebay just to instal 8 and mess with it. Not sure yet. LOL... What to do?

$200? More like $~150.

I got one for free years ago from a family member, I've been meaning to put some sort of Linux on it for ages.

How's this for Luck of the Irish: while walking to the store a couple of weeks back, what do I spy in a nearby field but an iPhone (3GS as it turned out), a couple of scratches but perfectly fine once I charged it up.

(Yes, I Did The Right Thing: I emailed the guy and offered to send it to him or have him pick it up. Turns out he had already gotten a replacement (I guess under Applecare) and said I could keep it. )

I bought a broken one on ebay for $9 and repaired the broken inside plastic hinge thingy. I do find the tracking very slow so I had to increase extra responsiveness using BetterTouchTool. I also have a 3bat BT kb and magic trackpad connected at the same time to my old macbook so maybe that is part of the problem.

I guess it's technically 'free', although it was really more of a trade.

I picked up a brand new 21.5" iMac from the Apple store in Amsterdam last Friday. Apple damaged my old iMac (2009) during the replacement of the Seagate Hard Drive and were unable to fix it, so they generously gave me a new one. It's the base model with 16GB of RAM, my old iMac was also the base model, and took my old iMac away for recycling.

You always read about these stories on the internet, but never believe that it will happen to you.

I saw them at Spencer's but they were only 3.5mm and I didn't like the sound too much (although practically all my speakers are Bose like in my car, desktop, and headphones so I'm spoiled ). But the water fountains look so cool and my friend kept making me replay the Skrillex remix of Cinema to them
