iPod touch Post, Who has talked to apple recently

Could people post here what apple has told them over the phone within the past hour or two...Thanks
 
:mad:im currently on the phone and the guy im talking 2 is full of it!
he has no response to why the update is not up yet and hes telling me to restart my computer now which is going 2 do no good..but yea..
they really have no clue when its gonna be up
 
I've checked with them 6 times today, every one of them said hopefully within the next couple hours, but you may want to check later tonight (they meant later tonight)

I completly aggre they are full of it and whatever it is hast to be in sideways and needs to come out
 
I just got off the phone with an apple rep. (with a brain, might I add) and he said no one is telling him anything about the servers, he does know how ever that it will be much later tonight or possibly even tomorrow when the update will be available.
 
I had a chat with someone about why my iphone wont restore, said it was on their end with the servers down.
 
yup...i just talked to apple about 2 hours ago...they agent on the phone had no idea...he told me it could be up later tonight or possibly at the end of this weekend:mad::mad::mad::mad:...he told me that the reason the servers crashed was because they we getting like 1million "update" clicks each second...

i dont get it..hasnt there been other updates before..how is this any different?
 
I can only think that their servers just can't handle everyone trying to update at the exact same time. You would think with the money they spent on advertising and all the hype they made they would have expected this.

I guess I'll just continue to be one of the 1,000,000 update clicks!

Does that mean it will definitely by all means, no-matter what, absolutely, positively be out tomorrow?

I'm just so frustrated.
