Well, the Swedish vikings contributed to what we see as vikings today as well. In some extent even more so than Norway (the island of Birka, for example). 🙂

Actually, there is a difference between the Vikings who went over to England to plunder and rape, and those who lived in Scandinavia at the time. Life wasn't all violence back then. 🙂
