Here's my everyday dinner plate (± 155 kcal).
Shouldn't come as a surprise that we hardly go out for dinner, since no place serves this kind of dishes :D

... Chinese dim sum - for breakfast, or very early lunch, a major favourite dining out choice of ours for the past good many years. Some photos from yesterday morning's dining - well-known favourite dishes (shrimp dumplings, stuffed beancurd dumplings, beef balls, chicken feet, and beef tendon), and one new-to-us dish (last photo, the steamed fish maw). (and some other dishes completed a much-enjoyed total offering!!)

I love Asian cuisine, and that looks absolutely mouth-watering.

Thanks for sharing.

This will be my breakfasts for the next week. I've been making bagels, lox, pickled onions and even cream cheese (above) from scratch, cool new rabbit hole. I heated two qrts of whole milk to 150˚, added a cheese culture pkg, and let it curdle overnight, then drain thru buttercloth (tighter weave than cheesecloth). Tomorrow I'll stir in chives and some salt (plus whey if necessary) and it'll be ready to go.
I've also saved the whey for the bagel dough tomorrow, see what that brings to the party. This is fun!

I am not into baking very often, but lately, have been enjoying local opportunities to purchase some rather decent looking and tasting fresh bananas, and with each purchase, keeping a few to ripen a touch longer, to use in baking banana bread.

For the most recent baking (yesterday morning), I mashed three, whole, very large, and ripe bananas, and used the largest loaf pan (in my collection), and results of the efforts were rewarded with the 'biggest & best' loaf to date.

For us, a rather wholesome dessert treat.

Looking very yummy indeed. Congratulations on a job well done!

Pizza night.

White pizza with garlic infused oil, fennel, pear, mozzarella, blue cheese, and balsamic glaze

Pizza 2 is reduced spicy Arrabbiata sauce, with uncured pepperoni, Sicilian herbs, and raw honey.

Pretty happy with how crispy the crust is coming off of my Ooni pizza oven. It takes a while to nail the technique, but I am getting there.

They both look amazing, and I am willing to wager that they both taste delicious.
