Now that I said that, Does anyone know what can be done to fix this?
pWn3D! n00b extreme amateur camera! 
It's a Canon Powershot S100 with a res. of 1600x1200 (I want a widescreen camera ). I use it with a 32 MB and a 16 MB CF card. I have both a USB and Composite connector for it (for connection to TV, came with it). It's perfect for family use and taking pictures for fun (though the fun task has been taken over by my iSight ). Anyways, I really like Canon, and this is a sweet $50 camera.

Very nice compact camera.
Wish I could afford a digital SLR, though, I miss the feeling of my old OM-1...

Sony generally makes really good P&S cameras. Maybe you just got a bad copy?

Yeah, that is a nice camera.
If I were getting a small point and shoot, I'd consider getting either that one, or the 720 SW, which is the one I really really want. It's waterproof up to 3 metres, perfect for snorkelling.
Costs a bit more than yours, though. I like yours if I had to get a non-waterproof camera, although I know yours is "weather-proof". Actually, your camera is so "weatherproof" that you can dunk your camera into a bucket of water and leave it there for awhile, and it'll still be ok. Just don't swim with it.

I got the Sony Cybershot T7. Brought it when it just came out...and since they brought out 2 new versions...shame...mine is still thinner though!!!!
thinking bout this what u think? i dont like the removable lense things so inbuilt like this is guuud... still want to keep my t7 as a compact though...

That's a very nice camera. So thin!
Crappy Sony Cybershot U. Nice for its size but its only 2 megapixels. I'm looking at the Nikon D50 and Canon Rebel XT though.
