here's my fedex tracking info. Looks to me like it left the fedex facility in shanghai at 11:51am, however it doesn't look like any fedex flights leave then?

When it has left Shanghai on its way to Anchorage your status will be "In Transit" and the last item on the tracking list should say something like this:

Goodluck! Make sure to check the weight (lift it) before the deliveryman leaves (someone on the board had theirs nicked)!

I have mine! It looks to be in fine condition, though I thought the glass trackpad would be, well, glass.. mine feels like the aluminum finish of the laptop haha. Seems plenty fast enough.. just now installing things!

Everything seems to be ok, but like others have mentioned, the battery cover thing is a bit loose, but I don't really mind. Things seem well so far! How are things on your end?

just called apple and got the $10 shipping charge waived, yea i know its only $10 but i shouldnt be paying for expedited shipping when its clearly not arriving in 2-3 days.

Hope this isn't off topic, but today I put in my second order for the Macbook Pro 2.53. I had ordered one through Danish premium reseller Humac over two weeks ago. When I ordered they told me delivery time was around 2 weeks. When I called them yesterday they then told be shipping time (from Apple) now said 24th of November!! If I hadn't called I wouldn't have known.

So I politely canceled the order and asked for my deposit back.Then I went to the online Apple Store and put in the order myself, where it says 7-10 days shipping time and the lady on the phone told me 2-3 weeks delivery time total. (And she said she was pretty sure it was accurate).

I really hope it will hold this time. I'm quite disappointed that Humac didn't notify me of the change of delivery time. I didn't order at the online Apple store to begin with because I like to have a physical store to go into if something goes wrong, and Humac are one of the only ones around here.

I just wonder how Apple treats orders from/through Premium Resellers. Do they not expedite them as fast as the Apple Store customers? Anyone else experienced this sort of thing?

Yeah! I agree with ZigZagLens. I bet you will see it on Monday! Mine said it would be delivered on Monday and came a day early (excluding weekends).

I went to the apple store and they fixed the problem so now it's no problems at all (except the occasional trackpad not registering a click) so I am BEYOND IMPRESSED =)
