Post your configuration and Shipping status

I have a question: What's the timeframe for stock configuration orders?

Mostly everything I've seen in this thread are custom orders (usually just a HD switch) and I know there's the delay on the 7200RPM, so I decided to go stock and buy the HD separate from NewEgg. I'm just wondering about how long I should expect to wait for the unit to actually arrive.

Any ballpark figure (anecdotal or otherwise) would be helpful.

Well I was hoping it was going to get here Monday morning but I couldn't find any flights between anchorage and indianapolis. Im afraid it might be going to Memphis which might add on an extra day.

Anyone better with flight aware than me?

My order changed status late friday to prepared for shipment and then to Shipped on saturday. So you can keep checking every half an hour

UPS is driving me CRAZY with its lack of updates. Did your tracking status have an estimated delivery date displayed when your machine seemed to be sitting in Alaska for that long?

Hard to tell with the updates. Mine showed arrived at Alaska, then no updates for two days, next update showed it out for delivery that morning. So while the lack of updates could be a problem, it could also be that the package is moving but they just haven't bother to post the updates.
