i will be forever grateful if someone can tell me how do i replace the carrier logo on my iphone 4 ..... i am on iPhone 4, iOS 4.2.1, on the top left corner it says / appears a simple name of my carrier. i want to put a logo there instead. I have tried many things but all in vain. 🙁

the thing to keep in mind in my case is I AM ON AN UNSUPPORTED CARRIER

Can anyone please tell me how to go about replacing those 2 logo files for my not supported by apple carrier ??😕

i have the 2 png files ready

Still no Verizon love huh? I want mine to look like the actual Verizon logo, rather than just text... I wish this was possible 😡
Why'd they have to be so difficult, haha..

hi, thanks
but can you make a litle bit more "sophisticated" one ?
sorry if i asked too much.
thx before hand

It's ok, you're not asking too much but I'm not the graphic design type. I use PS for photo images and not graphics. Luckily between here and macthemes there are a bunch of people far more suited for that task. Good luck! 🙂

can someone do these please 🙂

thank you in advance for all your great help!! 😀

If someone could convert this to the two necessary files (one color, one b&w), I'd really appreciate it. And if b&w is too much trouble, no big deal--the main thing I'm looking for is making the background transparent on this image--I can't seem to figure out how to make the background transparent with my limited editing software. Thanks!

Nevermind; figured out how to do it myself.

hey tim could you post that? I would like to see that!

Awesome thread guys. Keep up the good work!

Could someone help explain what it takes to make these images? There are a bunch I'd like to make (and will share) but I don't know how to. Thanks in advance!

Did anyone ever get this to work for BELL CANADA?

I still haven't been able to get this to work and would really like to use some of these...

Which folder and file do I need to replace for BELL CANADA?

I have tried all the generic ones posted in this thread.

^ The Bell_ca.bundle didn't work for you? I see that that folder only uses normal png's without the @2x.

Proper names of the images should be

Default_CARRIER_Bell.png
FSO_CARRIER_Bell.png

I'm pretty sure I've tried that, but I will try it once again when I get home today.

I will post back to let you know how it went!
Just to be a 100% sure, can you also, once again, post the exact path of the directory I'm suppose to replace the files in?

Thanks for the help!

I'm on iPhone 4 (4.3.2) and the path is;

System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Bell_ca.bundle

I think if you're on 4.2.1 or below, the "iPhone" folder isn't there so you can skip that. I believe that folder was added in 4.3+.

Thanks. I am on 4.3.3.

I will give it another try and cross my fingers that it works!

There's a white one in the middle there as well

So awesome!!! Thanks a bunch! Now I must figure out how to add it to the phone. So to install these you just rename it to
Default_CARRIER_ATT(or your carrier)@2x.png (this one is in color/black)
FSO_CARRIER_ATT(or your carrier)@2x.png (this one is white)
and drop it into the .bundle file?

Thanks again!
