I got the picture from the wallpaper linked to in this post.

Also, the monitor is an Asus MX27AQ from Amazon. I did a lot of research for a few weeks before choosing this one. I narrowed it down to this one or a Dell U2715H, but I've had a few bad experiences with Dell's ultrasharps though they are highly recommended. I couldn't be happier. This is the first display that I've ever had that doesn't have any glaring or even minor issues (even backlighting, no color shifts, even temperature and color across the display, no shadowing along the edges even on white, etc.). I had to turn of "VividPixel" which caused distortion via the menu, but I love this monitor and I've always wanted a 27" iMac-level resolution for my MacBook Pro.

Also, my old 24" 1920 x 1200 monitor had a PPI of 93. This one has a PPI of 109 which I thought wouldn't make a discernible difference, but text and UI elements are noticeably sharper to me with less fuzz. So an extra 16 PPI helps I suppose.

Congratulations. I'd echo your comments on the Dell, although we're quite happy with ours - but also happy with an Asus 27.
I now look at the HP Pavilion 27 xw for yet another workstation.
