To start August, I dug this old classic out from an old backup drive of mine. Typically, I go with a landscape wallpaper, but thought I'd change it up (for a little while at least). Bonus points if you know what this wallpaper is.
Thanks for showing off this new upcoming wallpaper.
I'm not a fan the recent defaults we had on both macOS and iOS, they were just some random and disproportional bulb-ish shapes in noisy and distracting colors.
Glad to see that Apple again throws in some imagery that could be a bit more inspiring.
Fun fact, I've been recording an instructional video over the past days, and switched to exactly the same interface.
Distraction free being the consideration here.
I wish I could say that I took the picture, but that would require me to:
Get a flight to South Africa,
Drive into the Greater Kruger National Park,
Get into Djuma or Sabi Sands, and
arrange for a Safari.
However, I can and will give credit to WildEarth and their Safari guides and camera crew for livestreaming their sunrise and sunset safaris. The sunrise safari got us this picture of a rather popular leopard in the Kruger, named Maribye. If this were 2007/2008, this could have easily have been the default background for OSX Leopard.
Nothing special, I know but I got kinda bored of the default ones, and Mayans MC is a good show (well as much of it as I've watched so far has been good). The Leopard folder just has Leopard apps for my PowerPC machines. And Desktop is everything that was once on my desktop, tidied away and organized. I prefer the smaller icons. Less cluttered:
