Post your FUTURE purchase

the 2012 iphone of course and the Sony RX100, my Sony HX5V is starting to show its age and its just one badass camera!

Ooh, I tried the RX100 today for the first time. It's a bit small for me, but it seemed quite capable! Decent focus, and the controls weren't difficult to figure out, even if I'm not used to using a point and shoot!! The camera was far too small for my average-sized hands though.

I currently have the Note 1. I think it's prettier than the Note 2 (the corners are too rounded imo) but its screen is a perfect size. Once you go that big, you'll never want a smaller display.

Great display! I have one myself and I absolutely love it.

My future purchases are these two shoes: I saw them this afternoon and I just LOVE them. I turned into a real Lacoste-fan as far as shoes are concerned, haha :D

Unfortunately, not as far in the future as I would like.:(

This is what I'm sorta fearing. Played with the Note 1 and liked it. Worried that I'll get accustomed to toting around a mini HDTV in my pocket. Oh well. Haven't ruled out future iPhones yet :)

You're absolutely right. I mean, even an HTC One X / Samsung Galaxy SIII looks tiny to me now. But that's nothing to be afraid of.

It's like being afraid of buying a MBPr because it'll cause other displays to look terrible - as long as you're using your very own, amazing product it's an amazing user experience.

But you'll definitely enjoy the phone, I really recommend it if you're looking for a good-looking, sleek, powerful and big phone ;)

Canon 135mm f/2 L. Going to trade or sell my 24-105 L for this.

Canon 400mm f/5.6 for football games and some nature stuff. Selling my 50mm f/1.2 for this because i already have the 50mm f/1.8 :)

I'm in the same boat my friend. I'm 60. What do I have left? 20-25 years maybe? maybe a lot less??

I'm 67, and my solution is not to think too far ahead, enjoy as much as I can...and take it a day at a time.

BTW: The tombstone is symbolic, as I have donated my body to a Medical School. After they get finished with me, they will cremate what bits and pieces are left, and put it in a cemetery with other remains.:D

Really want these. These will be the next shoes I get.

ive been thinking of selling my 24 1.4L II and 50mm 1.2 for a 100-400 and a 24-70 .. already have a 70-200 .. but not sure i should trade primes for two zooms for filming ..

Really depends on what you shoot. I absolutely love the 24-70. I really want the 24-70 II eventually. I'm selling off my 50 f/1.2 and 24-105 f/4 for these two lenses. I already have the 50 f/1.8 and it's plenty good enough, so i don't really need two 50mm lenses. The only one i hate losing is the 24-105 for its versatility, but the 135 f/2 is just so damn sharp. Besides, the f/4 to f/2 difference is worth losing the versatility of the 24-105, for me.

Thats a great idea! I think I'll do that too.

At least I'd know I was useful for something and if my body helps students become better doctors so be it.

Got a new mac mini as a gift for my GCSE results from my parents, top 2.7 i7 model, but only 4GB of RAM to save being ripped off. Hence, this:

One more sunday of organ playing, and I will have a thoroughly fast mini!

I thought about a 2nd hand MacBook, but do have some doubts that this one is really authentic.
