I ran across a Tumblr account that is dedicated to creepy "Broken GIFs", like the following:

I have a lot of GIFs as well, and they're all pretty much spread out in different locations so I have no idea where I've kept them!

I believe they're called 'cinemagraphs', absolutely beautiful.

The Blade Runner one I posted earlier is also a cinemagraph...I think.

Those cinemagraphs make it easy to forget that the .GIF format only has a maximum of 256 colors per image.
