You do know that XBench hasn't been updated since early 2006 and isn't accurate for anything made in or after 2007.

as far as I'm concerned the only thing not accurate is the type of mac you choose from
but if you feel it isn't accurate than feel free to contact a mod and get this thread deleted

Well then, fire up your old PPC Mac or early Intell one and start testing.

As another poster said, XBench hasn't been updated since 2006 and IS NOT an accurate benchmarking tool for the Mac...Geekbench is the main app for this now.

See 32-bit Geekbench results below for my 2011 27" i7 iMac, 8Gb RAM:

Main score 11791

Integer Processor integer performance 9845
Floating Point Processor floating point performance 18602
Memory Memory performance 6416
Stream Memory bandwidth performance 5518

Just for reference, here is XBench's useless result:

Could someone perhaps help me as I am still newer to Macs.

I see some of the other scores posted and can't help but to wonder why mines so low.

Could I get some guidance on what I can be doing to alleviate the situation?

i7, 120GB SSD, 16GB Ram, iMac27" 2011. Any advice would help!

..can't help but to wonder why mine[']s so low.

Your CPU is faster than mine and your CPU test is showing a third of mine, and your memory is 1333MHz where mine is 1067MHz and your memory test is one quarter of mine.

Something is very wrong in your system, and we are not likely to be able to remote diagnose it. I suggest getting an appointment for your machine with the Genius bar or a call to Applecare, and in the mean time, run Apple diagnostics -
