What I haven't read in this thread is this:
Once someone told me to create a lock screen wallpaper with an image of myself, my name, home phone number and email address.
I even added to it that I am allergic to penicillin, because if I get that administered, things really go wrong with me..
They idea behind it is, that if you loose or forget your phone and your phone is locked with a password or pin code, no one will ever be able to find out who the phone belongs to. No way for an honest person to return your phone to you..
Or, God forbid, if you ever become unconscious or worse (e.g. accident) no one will be able to find out who the actual owner (you) is (if you're still bearing it, but unable to talk) and contact your home phone in case of an emergency.
It would then look a bit like the attached quickly build mock-up... (for which I did try to mimic an iOS7 Contacts card)

The home screen wallpaper (dynamic) is for sure, but the lock screen wallpaper is different. It's not a big deal if you don't have it.
iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5 is 1040×1526 for proper parallax effect.

The main thing about that is that there will be an inconsistency when you see full-screen apps and normal ones.
