While this is good info, it's not complete. The author only tested the two IOSs on iPhone 4... it is known that each IOS slows a bit on older devices...

I ran the same benchmark against my 5 and:
3D Benchmark

Time: 11.5333338
Average FPS: 43.264881
Device: iPhone
O.S: 7.0

Bansi Benchmark
4185 Points
Average FPS: 59.7

So as you can see, performance is still very good on the newer models and I'm that is by design because of the expected new hardware.

Did compare your iPhone 5 running iOS:7 to an iPhone 5 running iOS:6?

This is a waste of time. iOS 7 is a beta full of active debugging code. It is not optimized for daily use on any phone. You don't even mention which beta version you used. Maybe you should test iOS 7 beta 6 agains iOS 6 beta 6 for an apples to apples comparison. Equally pointless though.

Wait till iOS 7 is GM in a couple of weeks and test then

ThankX for confirming that some people do talk out of there ass! You don't like it? I couldn't care less it's my freaking phone!
I've never really understood why people use pictures of other people as their home screen wallpaper. I mean, you can't see the faces clearly and it just makes everything look really cluttered. In your case, the girl on the left has a "9" coming out of her ear and the one on the right has some words sticking out of her shirt. Bizarre. (My wife uses our kids' pictures on her iPhone, so it's not just you. Personally, I use that stuff as a lock screen wall - sometimes - but never for the home screen. Just sayin)

The home screen is my Honeymoon trip with my wife. But i do also use the same picture with the lock screen as well.

And why on earth would anyone post these highly personal screenshots anyway? It's not like anyone is ever going to want them for their own phone, and they just open themselves up for ridicule.

I say if you want to use some crappy snapshot of your GF/BF/BFF/WTF as your wallpaper, and ruin the interface of your home screen, go for it. But don't post it online. And if you do, you get what's coming to you.

Or... or... here's an idea. People can post that if they want since they are free people ?

Ugggh.... the blurry/fuzzy dock really looks horrible with photos and images with lines, depth and 3D in it. I truly hope that Apple will make it a little bit more transparent, because it will make many peoples homescreen look a lot better. Because of the dock I'm only using simple gradient wallpapers :(

Wow. Your post surprised me. Everyone is free to post their home screens regardless of what wallpaper they have as long as it complies with the rules. There are a lot of people who like to have their kids as their wallpaper and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. So I'm not sure what your problem is. You really don't have the right to tell people what they should/shouldn't post.

It's not like anyone is ever going to want them for their own phone.

So? This isn't the main purpose of the thread. This is a thread for us to post our iOS 7 screen shots.
