LOL at these wallpaper threads. With the iPhone it's like someone left the app drawer open, it's a screen full of app icons, can't even see the wallpaper behind them.

Go to XDA and see any number of threads of Android phones and their home screens. Those are beautiful and works of art.
Why do you need to say this?

There used to be a show your android homescreen thread in the alternative section. Why don't you knock yourself out in there.

I haven't used an Android device since my Galaxy Note3 days and I have to admit that the customization on Android devices is second to none and I do miss that aspect with Android, but that's it.
I would/have given up looks for performance, but that's just me. I like the consistency that my Apple iPhone gives me day in and day out. Apple works for ME. Maybe someday I will return, but not today.

I actually like having icons available without a dedicated app drawer. And I used to use android religiously. Less clicks to get where I need to be. Yeah I miss the customization but I have such few issues with iOS that it's worth having fewer customization options.

I like to keep it simple.

I too had an android phone before but I just ended up placing all the apps I used on the home screens anyway. I have no problem with Apple not having an app drawer or home screen widgets. Everything I need is right in front of me. I consider 3D Touch being a smarter version of widgets. It's there when I force touch and it's out of my way when I want it to be.

This thread is boring, I just don't notice any difference and I'm agree with the person who said that all backgrounds are just different icons hiding what it really matters, there's 0 personalisation on iPhones tbh

One option would be to place all the icons starting from the second page. Then you would be able to see your background on the home screen.
