did I miss something here, I didn't think you could customize the wallpaper. I thought you had to jailbreak to do that. I just got my iphone in the mail today and am looking at it on my desk at work. Would love to know if there is a workaround on this for the 2G.

You can assign any pic in your folder to be wallpaper. So all you have to do is make a customized pic and sync it to the phone, then use it.

You have to jailbreak to change the black background behind all the Appliaction Icons, but the SLIDE TO UNLOCK SCREEN lets you change the background with NO jailbreaking.
