This is it for now. I change homescreens like I change my mind. It is a combination of a few different themes.

Tap to Unlock

After reading this entire thread and jailbreaking for the first time, I was inspired to mash up some themes and functionality to make my own. I couldn't have done it without the helpful explanations of everyone else, so here's a description of my setup:

Lock Screen:
Clock: Just the default Apple clock
"LockInfo" (Mail, Calendar, SMS, Push Notifications, Calls all turned on but only when there's something to show)
Unlock: My Custom Tap to Unlock (a mashup of others I've seen online)

Home Screen:
Winterboard Theme: Mostly "Classica 3" icons with some icon replacements sprinkled throughout. The translucent settings and badge icons come from "Glasklart HD". The dock was a port of "Future Dock", and can be found at http://www.macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=695922
Cell Carrier Change: Used "Make It Mine" in Cydia. If you want to add icons, you can use the default emoji icons or hidden keyboard characters by downloading "Glyphboard" through Safari.
Other Winterboard Settings: "No Undocked Icon Labels" and downloaded from Cydia, "No Docked Icon Labels 4.0"
Icon Size: Using "Shrink" to shrink down undocked icons at 80%, docked icons at 90%

Tap to Unlock...
I know a lot of people have been looking for that simple "Tap to Unlock" button in this thread that is so elusive. So I reconstructed it, and am releasing it into the wild. The button is not as small as it may seem. You can tap above the button quite a ways away and still be able to unlock (for those of you who have big fingers).

It isn't perfect though. If someone (anyone!) could please tell me how to get rid of the "Slide to Stop Timer" and "Slide to Stop Alarm" text that appears when a timer or alarm goes off while in lockscreen mode, I would really appreciate it. I've tried to clear that text from the SpringBoard.Strings file, but it still appears.

Where do you go to change non apple/jailbreak App icons? I don't want to install Winterboard, so I have just been changing some icons and I like the Classica3 ones as well. When I SSH in, where do the normal apps sit?

two places:

Stock apps and cydia apps:

var/stash/applications/"application name".app

Apps from app store:

var/mobile/applications/"numberkey"/"application name".app

To modify these icons, replace the "icon@2x.png" icons with the new ones you want. If i were you I would back up the icons you change on your computer or rename them.

does anybody have any idea how to get a similar weather widget on my home screen under my icons like the picture below ; ?

Thank you!

Looks like they made things a bit of a pain with the Number key part...

How did you setup LockInfo to show nothing unless there is information for Mail, Calendar, SMS, Push Notifications and Calls...... Even if there are no notifications, mine still shows the categories on the lockscreen......

Where did you get the lockscreen background. Thanks

17 minutes have past...hold your horses, if somebody knew where it came from they would have told you. Give it time.

someone have this theme or backround available as well? is there any way other than ssh to get rid of the fade that the home screen creates? ive gotten rid of the actual dock so its transparent but it still puts a black fade from the bottom up that i want gone. thanks in advance

Go into each plugin (i.e. mail or calendar) and turn off "Always Show Header"
