Okay, running into some weird problems here with that wooden dock. Got the image sized properly at 640x90, yet when I put it in my theme folder, named Dock.png, it is not sized properly on the phone. It looks like its effectively being squished in half horizontally. As if it needs the @2x to function properly.

Here's the new retina-sized dock, btw

EDIT: Image removed, look a few posts down for dock

try replacing the dock png without using winterboard. library/system/coreservices/springboard.app name the dock SBDockBG@2x

whooo that did it! Looks sweet! But I need to resize it a bit more. Disregard the image I linked previously, I'm going to make it better.

EDIT: Also, sorry to hijack this thread so badly. I'll post the finished dock and be out of your hair.

Please post the finished article :)

Wouldn't it be easier to merge both images instead of messing with the dock?

And then get a dock hider?

what are you using for the wallpaper to match up to the dock? the only wallpapers i can find are 320*480

exactly what i was thinking as i dont have photoshop on my macbook right now.. if anyone could merge them together and post them on here would be awesome

Ok here's the dock (finished). To the above posts - I don't know if it's easier to just have a wallpaper+transparent dock, but personal preference. for me, I feel this dock/wall perfectly compliments the suave theme, but I'd never use it for a different theme because it's a very specific look. So for me, I think it's easier to have two separate theme-specific images. They aren't overwriting system files anyway (It's all in a Bundles folder).

Anyway, here it is

i cant seem to get it showing up with the suave hd i tried everything still the dock from the theme is showing up ..

Thanks!

Now all we need are the date and weather widget on the springboard.

And the wallpaper

Make sure that if there's a Dock.png in the main Suave theme folder, rename it to Dock_inactive or something. Then take my image and rename it SBDockBG@2x.png and put it in Suave HD/Bundles/com.apple.springboard

Thanks that was the issue , it doesent however look quite right with that background..

Any idea if the snow leopard dock indicators would work with the dock?

Just download classica to your computer and pick and choose what icons you want. Open the bundles dir and all of the icons are there in individual folders.

If someone could remake the wallpaper into retina size and include the little raised portion that is on the dock image that would be awesome. I plan on making the wood portion of the dock completely fill the 90 pixels and have the gray portion instead be in the wallpaper image so that more of the wood is shown.

Don't like the icons with this wallpaper/dock combo. Suave HD is terrible on iPhone 4. Looks like I will store this combo for later use. Thanks for the dock murdercitydevil.
