They will go in the UIImages folder in your theme.

So - n00b question here: If they go in that folder under that theme, will the bars return to stock if a different theme is selected (provided, of course, that you don't edit the UIImages folder in each and every theme on your device)?

Thanks.

Are you using a theme? If so, the dock is located in...

/private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/ThemeName/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/. I have a transparent dock in my theme and I named the file SBDockBG@2x.png and put it in the location above. I would imagine you would do with the dock you have and I am pretty sure you have to name it SBDockBG.png (for 3G and 3GS) and SBDockBG@2x.png (IP4).

hmmm, I have an i4, and renamed to SBDockBG@2x.png, resprung, and still can't get it to show up(in fact, no dock shows up unless it's one i enabled in winterboard). Appreciate the advice, I don't know what I'm missing.

Edit: I'm using the Black'UPS HD theme if that's of any relevance.

One more question how do you remove the name from an icon?

I put this into the Info.plist file in my theme and it works for me.

<key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
<string>color: white; opacity: 0</string>
<key>UndockedIconLabelStyle</key>
<string>color: transparent</string>

If you put those files into a theme and then you change themes, yes, the bars will either go back to normal or will change to the bars, if they have them, in that new theme. Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense, thanks! Would there be a way/path to make these bars the default bars outside of individual themes? Thanks again - great mod!

yes sir, just as you described in previous post.

Okay, I found the solution. I will post the screen shot and instructions in a min.

So, is this what you are trying to accomplish (obviously need the high res dock)?

Do I need to remove the current information and add this or just add this in addition to whats currently there?

Yeah, just extract this file, copy the folder 'bars' into the themes section of and select it from Winterboard. Then if you have a theme or not, and have this selected, you should have the bars.

I would not remove anything. Since I am not sure what you have in there currently. If you add this, you should be okay.

yes sir, just as you described in previous post.

Not sure if you saw it or not, but I posted a screen shot in my post above. If that is the desired outcome you are expecting then this is what I did...

I copied the SBDockBG@2x.png file from the poster and placed it in

/private/var/stash/Themes.ksMOA6/Black'UPS Darkness HD.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard AND
/private/var/stash/Themes.ksMOA6/Black'UPS Darkness HD.theme

Resprung, and it worked for me.

Great! I think I got all that! I'll have to give this a shot when I get home via SSH (or can I do that with iFile?

I use WinSCP and have never tried iFile. So, I am not much help on that one.

maybe this is an issue:

I don't know how to set the user wallpaper in the Black'UPS theme instead of the default, I using weatherfurik and that makes my wallpaper whatever I chose. But if I turn it off, the default Black'UPS wallpaper shows up. Any advice on how to change the wallpaper in the theme to the user wallpaper?

Sorry, I don't. I created my own theme and use wallpapers from my phone. I can play around to see what can be done. I do remember seeing a post on here before with regard to changing the wallpaper of a theme. But I don't know where it is.

here is my new screen:

Baiscly its Suave HD which everyone seems to have, 4x4 dense layout with iconoclasm, and a wallpaper/dock i found earlier in this thread. I edited down the Typophone 4 lockscreen widget to make it work here. I do suffer from the backgrounding going black when the folders open up but it's nto bothering me a bit..if anyone knows how to fix it it i'd sure like to know. not sure. I guess once iOS4 starts working well with Widget.html files i will be able to clear it up. Anyway..here it is....

could I get your mail icon and how did you get the weather temp bubble?

It's called weather icon, add's a nice simplistic feature to almost any weather application. Very easy to use as well.

Here are the mail icon(s) Enjoy!

Thanks. How do you get the crown for network name?

Place these into the carrier bundle settings (/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/ATT_US.bundle). Remember to save the original files as this did not go into a theme, it actually went into the system folders of the phone.
