Just got this one about a week ago.
EW Messenger - Bryant from Fossil
It's really pretty nice, though a bit expensive for me. I felt odd spending $200 on a bag, since my last one only cost $50. But, then when you think about it I'm carrying around nearly a $2,000 notebook - so from that point of view $200 seems acceptable. And I take it everywhere, especially to work, so I figure I need something at least a
little classy.
It has four large pouches (two inside, two outside), a small (almost hidden) zipper pouch, a strap-secured laptop sleeve and a large area for folders, papers or whatever. The strap is very sturdy and well attached to the bag (my last one was removable and one side kept coming unlatched and I had a few close calls with the laptop and the floor).
The leather is top-notch and very soft, without being delicate. The stitching is well done and seems like it will be able to endure the rigors of many years of use. In short, it seems very well made and I know from experience with my 20 yr old leather backpack that those things can last forever if cared for.
A few oddities: It has no handle on top like typical bags of this sort. Which is weird, but those handles are practically useless IMHO anyway, since they (usually) aren't centered over the weight of the bag and the bag leans inward when held by it. But the handle was nice to swing the bag into the car with. The other different thing from other bags is the fold-over flap attaches with magnetic-guided buttons (hard to explain) instead of the usual snap-straps. It looks nicer, and once I got good at it was just as quick to latch up.
So, overall, I really like it and recommend it highly to others, just so long as you're OK with the little differences.
P.S. They sell matching wallets for that model bag if you're interested in matching things up.
