Personally outside of gaming on it which was pretty fun, the ipad did absolutely nothing for me.

Just ordered an enclosure for 10 bucks off ebay for a 3.5 inch 320 gig 7200rpm hitachi that was delivered last week. External storage via USB for my Macbook. When I get a new MBP I will upgrade the enclosure to firewire. : )
Should be decent fast storage for time machine and itunes.

I have a 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM MyBook.. and I made the mistake of accidentally putting my music and movie collection on the 5400 RPM one. Funny how I actually notice the difference.

I'm contemplating starting over and moving at least the music to the other drive, since it's completely empty at the moment.

My new camera arrived yesterday. I got the Panasonic Lumix GF1 with the 20mm/F1.7 lens. I'm very excited about it. I've never had a camera of this caliber, so it should be fun to really learn. I've been wanting to get a DSLR-type camera for some time, but just didn't want something that big. When these new Micro 4/3 cameras came out, I knew that was it.

I could have taken a pic of it with my iPhone, but that just didn't seem like it would do it justice, so here is a stock photo of it, and then the box taken with the actual camera
