I'm thinking that won't be too long!
Quite possibly! The other bottle is a few days to a week away of being finished off.

This is quite the rabbit hole my shrink friend pushed, nah, shoved me into. :p

He told me scotch whisky is an acquired taste. But when I had my very first sip of any scotch whisky, The Macallan, in the photo above, I acquired the taste instantly.

Well I hope he is doing okay.
I've never been a big whisky drinker. I'm not good at dealing with the aftermath!

He's doing well.

As for the aftermath, I only have one small drink at a time and so I never have an aftermath to deal with. I drink for the taste, not the buzz or to get drunk.

Delighted to learn that the shrink friend is doing well, and that the rabbit hole of good scotch is as welcoming and rewarding as you have found it to be.

An iPad case from Pad and Quill. I’m amazed with the quality and design.

(My apologies for the poor picture quality.)

Nice. I have the Maui Jim Castles in prescription and non-prescription. Excellent glasses, I feel.

A pair of vintage West Germany-made Canton speakers (GL300F), and a bottle of 18-year Glenmorangie.

I have bought computer cases and iPad cases from Twelve South in the past (and have given their cases as gifts when gifting iPads, or older MBAs to the carer and to my brothers) but have read very positive reports of Pad & Quill; that looks lovely, do enjoy it and let me know how you find it.

Thank you. So far I like it very much.

And I just looked through twelve south and ordered the HiRise Duet. Thank you!

Personally, I have found the products made by Twelve South to be stylish, and beautifully made, solid and elegant; you'll enjoy what you have ordered, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the company and its products to those who are based in the US.

However, when ordering from Twelve South, from Across The Pond, I have found the company somewhat trying as - unlike all of the other US companies I have dealt with, - they don't charge you for everything upfront at checkout.

This is a bit of a nuisance because then, weeks or months later, (and I am often abroad for weeks or months at a time) you receive unpleasant letters demanding further sums - taxes and so on that hadn't been specified at the time of purchase - which (as no giro or anything of the sort are attached) are difficult to actually pay.

However, those issues don't arise when ordering from them in the US.

I have found Colonel Littleton - and indeed, Saddleback - a good bit easier to deal with.

I was pretty skeptical of spending a few hundred dollars on sunglasses at first, but I absolutely love my Maui Jims. They perform wonderfully on the water kayaking, driving east in the bright morning sun, and on those bright snowy wisconsin winter days. No chromatic aberration, only the tiniest amount of distortion, and the coatings are holding up to cleaning really well. You get what you pay for!
