There are a lot of thread out there about changing your fan speeds and that app you use and if its safe and etc etc... I wanted to start a useful one where we talk about what program you are using and your current settings and how its working for you. So we can all compare and tweak out settings to get the best results.
 
I used smcFanControl for a year or so and just switched to TG Pro a few months back. here are my current settings. My average cpu temp fluctuates a ton... from 45 to 75. I have all the things to re-do my thermal paste, just been lazy recently. haha

So if you look at my 2nd post my temps were fine yesterday... I turned on my mac this morning and Bam, super hot temps. fans are running maxed out all the time. it gets this hot about 1 min after startup. no changes were made since last night either. If you notice "GPU Diode (Analog)" was not even there yesterday
