I am sure a lot of you have playlists you use to exercise or mellow out, but do any of you have a weird playlist you use for something specific?

I have a playlist named "Work That Pole" and it's a compilation of memorable songs I have heard at various gentlemen's clubs and it reminds me of the women who danced to those songs. Some songs include:

'Voodoo' - Godsmack
'Bloodsport' - Sneaker Pimps
'Freak Off' - The Beatnuts
'D'yer Mak'er' - Led Zeppelin

I don't necessarily do anything with the playlist but I do play it every once and awhile to place love in my heart and put a smile on my face

:D

I have a bedroom playlist that starts with Portishead and ends with DJ Tiesto. There may or may not be two songs by The Wiggles in it too...

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

Music to Sleep to

A playlist of songs to fall asleep to. Remember to set the iPod's sleep timer, else you wake up at 3AM with the songs still playing... and a mostly-dead battery.

5. Burning Love - Elvis Presley
6. Smoke - Ben Folds Five
7. Great Balls of Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis
8. Fernando - ABBA (he called the house "Fernando" to piss off his flatmate)
9. Disco Inferno - Countdown
10. London's Burning - The Clash
11. Short Fuse Burning - Less Than Jake
12. This Fire - Franz Ferdinand
13. Blaze of Glory - Jon Bon Jovi
14. We Didn't Start The Fire - Billy Joel
15. Everything's on Fire - Hunters and Collectors
16. Smoke on The Water - Deep Purple.

He thought it was tops. :D

That's what I'm talking about! Hilarious!

I have a "Dark Room" playlist for when I print.

It has some combination of awful rap (think "Roll Out" by Ludacris), mellow indie stuff (The Shins. Okay, maybe they're post indie. Or former indie. I can never keep these things straight), some headbanging music (Rage Against the Machine), and a whole lot of techno, usually one of a few hour and a half long recordings I have from Sensation, which is a huge techno festival in Amsterdam.

It works quite well- I'm never creative without music.

And Chundles, that has to be one of the best things I have heard in a while.

I have a playlist named 'Pale Hose' and it's a collection of music I hear at Chicago White Sox games. When Paul Konerko comes up to bat, he'll either have Metallica's "Battery" or "Harvester of Sorrow" playing. Trick Daddy's "Let's Go" for Scott Podsednik. Journey's "Dont Stop Believing" for that magical 2005 season. You get the idea. It's a weird mix, but it reminds me of the White Sox and how I can't wait for the next season.
