10.4.11 - 58.5seconds from the moment that I plug the button till I see the dock appear (3seconds more to load logmein and other stuff).
It takes +- 24seconds to appear the apple logo :S Guess it's the sata card fault...
I didn't bench 10.5.8 because my card is flashed with the rom with temp sensors, and that leads to waiting about 30 or more seconds in a white screen for 10.5.8

PowerMac G5 on my sig;

52.2 secs from push button to desktop, 9 secs from push button to chime.

Considering I have SSD on RAID0, I expect a faster boot time. But who cares, I don't cold boot so often.

Application loading time is 3 seconds or less. Can't complain.

I was less than impressed with the performance of Leopard on a SSD too.

I have a new purchased 14" ibook G4 933MHz,640mem,40 gig hd,leopard 10.5.8 fresh install all updated,itunes ect

1:06 secs to dock and menu bar.

Now I have timed my G3 as well (cold boot)!

From button push to menu bar: 44 seconds
