Hate to be a search nazi, but try searching for this and similar topics. It has been covered many many times.
FINALLY.... someone posted it, personally i didn't want to get flamed so i held off on it. but i would like to see some pics of peoples set-ups.
I would post mine but my MBP is currently being repaired so i don't have any way to get pics up...

Nothing totally special about the mobile rig, but the next toy on my wish list is an AJA IO HD (Kona for a notebook!).
Software (installed on both machines): Final Cut Studio 2 with FxFactory Pro 2 plugin pack, Adobe After Effects CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Redcine/Red Alert/Crimson (workflow apps for RED footage).
I've mostly been doing work with DVCPRO-HD, HDCAM and REDCODE projects. So definitely nothing "consumer".
Hmmmm....I don't really own any cameras worth mentioning because that really isn't my thing. I'm more of a post guy.

I've got so much hardware that I need 2 aircraft hangers just to store the information where all the kit is. When I mobilise for a shoot I use 15 articulated lorries and 4 hovercraft, also I use so much electricity that I had to build my own power station.
